How to Verify a Kakobuy Row Before You Order
Five checks that take two minutes and catch most of what goes wrong: marketplace, measurements, seller record, QC coverage and shipping class.

Start with where the row came from
Taobao offers breadth and the widest price range, Tmall carries brand assurance, 1688 is wholesale and often cheapest per unit, and JD is fast within China. Knowing which one you are looking at tells you what the listing is likely to guarantee.
A row that says which marketplace it came from is a row you can reason about. That is the first thing to look for, before price or photographs.
Measurements over size letters
Listings that publish flat measurements are more trustworthy than ones that only show S, M and L. Regional sizing differs, and conversion tables smooth over exactly the differences that matter.
Measure a garment you already own and compare those numbers. It takes a minute and removes most of the guesswork from the category you know least.
Read the seller, not just the item
Dispatch speed varies far more between sellers than between categories, and a slow seller holds a consolidated parcel regardless of which lane you paid for.
Look for whether the seller has shipped this item consistently, and whether recent reviews mention the same flaw twice. Repeated complaints are the most reliable signal on the page.
Know what the QC set will cover
QC photos arrive per item when it reaches the warehouse. They are your only look at the specific unit you are buying, rather than the stock image everyone sees.
Check that the angles you need are included: seams and prints for clothing, soles and heel shape for footwear, hardware for bags. Ask for another angle before approving, never after dispatch.
Class the item before you ship it
Bulky, heavy, fragile and restricted are four different shipping problems. Bulky inflates volumetric weight, heavy is fine by sea and costly by air, fragile wants reinforcement, and restricted changes the lane entirely.
Deciding which of these your item is before dispatch is the difference between a quote that matches and one that surprises you.
FAQ
Is a cheaper row always worse?
No. On 1688 the same item is frequently cheaper because it is priced wholesale, not because it is lower quality. Judge the listing, not the number.
What if the QC photos never arrive?
The seller has not delivered to the warehouse yet. Check the inbound record on the order page before assuming something is wrong.
Should I order one item or several first?
One or two, from one seller. It keeps the variables low while you learn the process.
